South Staffordshire & Shropshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is holding a vibrant and inclusive Trust Festival on the 13th September 2017 and everyone is welcome! The event will be taking place in the Learning Centre on the St George’s Hospital site in Stafford, Corporation Street, ST16 3SR.
Everyone is welcome to explore over fifteen stands hosted by the Trust’s key services in the Learning Centre and enjoy activities and displays from Arts for Health in the marquee from 10.00-14.30.
Attendees will be able to join short presentations, learning more about individual services and the value of co-production with service users, as well as having any queries answered by service representatives. Expect to meet with departments such as Learning Disabilities, Research and Development, Trust Governors and many more excited to share their work and spread the word about their service.
There will also be the opportunity to hear patient stories from service users relating to mental health and learning disabilities in the Video Room, discover the Health Shop and receive free snacks.
The Trust is hoping for their most diverse, innovative and inclusive event yet, placing service users and carers at the heart of it all.
Martin Gower, Trust Chairman stated; “We are committed to involving and engaging our service users and carers in every aspect of Trust business and I am delighted we will be demonstrating some of the ways in which this partnership approach is making a positive difference to our organisation”.
The Annual Members’ Meeting will be held as part of the festival from 14.30-16.00 in the Learning Centre theatre and will give members an opportunity to review the past year and ask questions of the Council of Governors. People can become Members on the day, there is no charge.
