The Pharmacy service is provided from five separate pharmacies:


Based at St Chad's House, and staffed by employees of our Trust.

Service Comprises:

  • Ward top-up
  • Pharmacist ward visits
  • Leave/Discharge dispensing
  • Individual in-patient dispensing (Forensic unit)
  • Supply to Sexual Health and Inclusion Teams at the specified locations
  • Medicines Information (on request)
  • Clozapine monitoring/dispensing service

Based at The Redwoods Centre, and staffed by employees of our Trust.

Service Comprises:

  • Ward top-up / in-patient dispensing (including some regular compliance aid work)/leave and discharge dispensing to all wards on site.
  • Partial in-patient dispensing to off-site wards plus leaves and discharge
  • Pharmacist ward visits to all wards on-site
  • Education to staff / service users and counselling on an ad-hoc basis in the variety of settings.
  • Ward rounds / Multidisciplinary team meetings
  • CMHTs at the specified locations - no supply except in emergencies/visits, and then on an ad-hoc basis
  • Medicines Information (on request)
  • Clozapine monitoring/dispensing service
